Finite Element Modeling of Stability of A New Device of PLT Set Bracing

Plate loading test (PLT) is one of the most applicable in situ geotechnical tests which is employed to figure out the base soil strata`s elasticity modulus, bearing capacity, coefficient of base reaction and etc. The usual methods of test`s set bracing would lead to disturbing the in situ soil condition or would have some problems with the accuracy of data collection. Therefore, this study has considered on a new method of bracing this test`s set and focused on analysing the stability of new set by application of finite element method.
