 ABSTRACT

The dynamic testing is widely used in nondestructive detection tests of boltís anchoring quality. But itís difficult to estimate boltís anchoring quality according to the dynamic response of bolt. The boltís anchorage quality depended mainly on bolt-surrounding rock structural system which features must be identified. In this paper, a new analytical method used in identification for bolt-surrounding rock system was put forward combining with advantages of wavelet analysis and artificial neural network. Initially, based on the uniform design, the samples library of boltís anchorage system were set up and the dynamic responses of these bolts were obtained by numerical simulation. And then, combining with wavelet analysis and artificial neural network, the features were extracted from the dynamic responses and the values of boltís side rigidity factors were estimated. Finally, these features are fed into the artificial neural network for training. It was shown that this wavelet neural network after training agreed well with the boltís side rigidity factors. It could be a reasonable mean to appraise the quality of boltís anchoring system.
