The Five Elastic Parameters for the Anisotropy of Slate under the Influence of Different Bedding Orientations

 ABSTRACT

According to electron microscopy experiments, it(s found out that slate has significant blasto-stratification structures and plate cleavages structure. Because of the impact of internal bedding structure on the slate, the apparent elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio of and  is increased from small to large, and  change faster than .The bedding angle has a slight influence on the elastic modulus and Poisson(s ratio perpendicular to the isotropic plane,and the former is slightly smaller than that of the isotropic plane.
