 ABSTRACT

Studied fatigue problems in the gravity ocean platform. Considered the influence of random waves as the environment loads, the wave loads was reduced by the Morison Equation and the speed of water particle was calculated by the Stokes Wave Theory. In the fatigue reliability analysis, supposed the stress was in Rayleigh distribution, then deduced probability distribution function of fatigue damage in structures based on the Miner linear accumulative damage standards, thus obtained fatigue damage and service life of caisson under wave random loading. At last, saw the gravity ocean platform as a space steel-concrete structure, considered the inner surface of the caisson, reduced to the rectangular plate problem, used finite element software to take dynamics analysis of simplified structure in ocean platform, got the allowed fatigue cycles and using coefficient. The calculation results show that the method is simple, reliable, and can be effectively used in engineering practice.
