Analysis of Thermal Stress of a Single Crack in any Direction under Dry Environment Conditions

 ABSTRACT

At some places there is a larger temperature difference between day and night. Rock which surrounds the entrance to a tunnel under the action of a high temperature difference causes the internal temperature difference resulting tension; it is easy to produce chronic distress. This paper considers an arbitrary coordinate system, fissure in dry environment and the influence of a larger temperature difference of the crack tip stress state, and calculates the stress intensity factors along a three-dimensional crack front and thermal stress state of any direction crack tip under the action of thermal stress.
