Correlation Research between Landslide Thrust and Invading Width of Rock for Rock-Socketed Anti-sliding pile in Steep Slope

 ABSTRACT

For the study of landslide thrust of invading width on the front of rock-socketed anti-sliding pile, Finite element model of spatial entities for rock-socketed anti-sliding pile and rock has been built up by use of ABAQUS. Rock stress changes of anti-sliding piles has been obtained under different landslide thrust by changing the invading width L and slip surfacedip of rock on the front of pile. According to the comparison of the results, the bearing capacity of landslide thrust for rock-socketed anti-sliding pile increased with the invading width on the front of rock increased under certain dip of slip surface. However, when the invading width reached a certain value, the landslide thrust got a stabilized value basically. What is more, when the invading width is not changed, with the increase of dip of slip surface, the bearing capacity of landslide thrust has a linear decrease. Lastly, the correlation between the invading width of rock on the front of the rock-socketed anti-sliding pile in steep slope and landslide thrust has been determined combined with engineering examples.
