Reflection Waveform Analysis of Necking Pile under Low Strain

 ABSTRACT

It is a must to ensure the load safety both in architecture structure and Geo-technique with the wide use of deep foundation. To guarantee the construction quality of foundation piles, integrity detection is performed during the construction process. Finite element models of various kinds of necking piles are established to simulate necking defects with different extents, locations, lengths, etc. Effects of factors to the velocity time history curve are analysed.
