Dr Rakesh Kumar Dutta
Dr. Rakesh Kumar Dutta graduated in Civil Engineering from Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur. Thereafter, he pursued his M.E. studies in Geotechnical Engineering at University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee) and obtained his Ph.D in 2002 from IIT Delhi. After a brief stint in REC Kurukshetra, he joined the faculty of Civil Engineering at REC Hamirpur (Now NIT Hamirpur) in 1991. Since 1997 he is serving as Senior Lecturer of Civil Engineering. Over the years, his research interests included Geotechnical Engineering, Geosynthetics, Rock Mechanics, Engineering Education, Computer Application in Civil Engineering and currently Environmental Geotechnology. He guided 01 M.Tech theses and published 45 technical papers in various National and International Conferences, Journals.
