Dr. Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Mhaidib is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Al-Mhaidib graduated in Civil Engineering from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 1982. He obtained his M.Sc. degree (Geotechnical Engineering) from University of Colorado at Boulder, Colorado, USA, in 1986; and his Ph.D. degree (Geotechnical Engineering) from University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, in 1992. Dr. Al-Mhaidib works in the areas of Analysis and Design of Deep Foundations, Analysis and Design of Shallow Foundations, Characteristics and Stabilization of Expansive Soils, Characteristics and Stabilization of Sabkha Soils. Dr. Al-Mhaidib has published more than 30 national and international technical papers in various journals and conferences in the area of Geotechnical Engineering. He reviewed a number of journal and conference papers.
