Dr. Muhammad Asghar Nasim is the Dean of college of Engineering at National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Risalpur campus, Pakistan. He teaches courses in Highway Engineering and Soil Mechanics to undergraduate students. He actively supervises students research projects and monitors the progress of other teaching and research activities in the college. He got his doctorate from The University of Michigan Ann Arbor, USA in 1992. He has a vast experience in design and consultancy in various important national projects. His research interests include geotechnical aspects of dams engineering, study of settlement of highway bridges and problematic soils of Pakistan.
