Ali Soleimanbeigi is a Graduate Researcher at the Department of Civil Engineering of Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran. He received his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Tehran Polytechnic in 2001 and his M.Sc. in Geotechnical Engineering from Shiraz University in 2003. His research interests include soil improvement techniques; design of embankment dams; constitutive laws in geotechnical eng.; geosynthetics; deep foundations; and application of artificial intelligence in civil engineering. He is also cooperating with Moshanir Power Eng. Co. as a research engineer at the Department of Embankment Dam Design.
