Graduate student research/assistantship in geoenvironmental engineering at UNLV

The following funded graduate research assistantship is available at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in Civil Engineering. The appointment can begin this summer or fall.

Surveying/geoenvironmental engineering: Developing applications for Global Positioning Systems (GPS) technology and equipment in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering. Specifying and acquiring GPS equipment for teaching and research; integrating GPS technology and equipment in the Civil Engineering curriculum; helping to develop a regional network of continuously-operating reference stations in the Las Vegas valley.

Candidates with an earned Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering are preferred. For more information, please contact
