Available Geotechnical Position: Research Assistant
Required to work within the DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING to develop models of the design process and to apply them to the observational method of geotechnical design.
You must have a degree in engineering (or equivalent subject) and have experience of geotechnical design. You will need to be at ease with computer programming. Previous experience of risk analysis or Process Modelling would be advantageous.
The post is funded by EPSRC (Innovative Manufacturing Initiative) for two years with salary in the range Pounds Stirling #14317 - #18294 depending on age and experience. You will be encouraged to register for a higher degree.
