Description of Position

CHIEF GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER - ASSOCIATE

Past growth and anticipated succession of R. W. Gillespie & Associates (RWG&A)have created the need for a Chief Geotechnical Engineer with a desire for management leading to part ownership as an Associate, in addition to engineering responsibilities. RWG&A is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with good interpersonal skills, strong technical abilities, and demonstrated management experience. This position requires a Master of Science degree with emphasis in geotechnical engineering, registration as a Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in all New England states, plus ten to fifteen years of experience including a minimum of five years of practice in the northeastern United States. Applicants should be generalists and have working experience with pile foundations, consolidation and preloading, and slope stability. RWG&A is a working practice With billable ration for Principals and Associates typically in excess of 60 percent, annually. RWG offers competitive wage and benefits packages.
