Available Geotechnical Position: Teaching Assistantship
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Tulane University invites applicants for its graduate programs in Geotechnical, Environmental and GeoEnvironmental Engineering. The department offers courses and research opportunities in geotechincal engineering, water quality modeling, bioremediation, wastewater treatment, environmental statistics, engineering applications of GIS technology, residuals management and reuse, waste disposal facility design, air pollution control, and nuclear waste disposal. Tulane University has two federally funded environmental research centers: Center for Bioenvironmental Research and the National Institute for Global Climate Change.
This teaching assistantship will start on January 1997 and it includes a full-tuition waiver and a competitive monthly stipend based on a 9 month academic year.
